Basil, bee balm, horehound, hyssop, lemon balm, marjoram, oregano, peppermint, rosemary, sage, savory, spearmint, and thyme. Use 2 parts of the ingredients you like the flavor of and 1 part of those you find less appealing. Pour boiling water over the herbs and let them steep for 10 to 20 minutes before drinking.
Oregano Herbal Vinegar
The method is simple. Place your fresh oregano herb in a large glass container. Fill the container with either apple cider vinegar. Never use metal utensils or lids. Place the vinegar in a bright location for about two weeks. Shake the mixture daily. Strain the flavored vinegar into decorative bottles, adding herb sprigs. Close the top with a cork or similar stoppers. The vinegar is good for about six months. Use in salad dressings, as a hair rinse, or a medicinal tonic.
